I am passionate about working with children and young people with learning differences, and their families, to achieve positive outcomes and support them to fulfil their potential.
I am bubbly and friendly and pride myself on being able to create environments where individuals feel safe and comfortable to explore ways to develop. I whole heartedly believe that with the right level of support, delivered in ways that are tailored to meet needs, any individual can thrive and experience success.
I have extensive experience of supporting children, young people and vulnerable adults within a variety of settings with a range of needs. I began my career working with individuals with additional needs when I was 18 years old and nearly 15 years later my love and devotion has only grown. My previous experience includes working as an Assistant Head of Inclusion, Enrichment and Wellbeing in a specialist provision for students with EHCPS and further to this managing a Student Services and SEN provision within an FE and HE institution. Alongside offering support to PAST, I also currently provide 1-1 specialist tutoring support for Kite TLS.

As a practitioner, I can offer a wide range of support in areas such as; transition, general wellbeing (including individual understanding and awareness of diagnosed conditions), understanding emotions, managing anxiety, behaviour management and self-regulation, understanding healthy relationships, developing self-esteem, building confidence, understanding mental health and parental support.
