Assessing and supporting Autism compassionately

We are a multi-disciplinary assessment and consultation service for children and young people and their carers who require specialist support and/or may benefit from a formal assessment and if appropriate, diagnosis of autism.

The team at PAST puts a flexible and multi-disciplinary perspective at the heart of our work.

We provide clinical assessments, understanding and consultations for issues including:

NICE Compliant, Multi-Disciplinary Autism Assessments using a range of appropriate diagnostic tools..

Additional Assessments for demand avoidant behaviour (including formal recognition of a profile of behaviour & development known as PDA within the context of Autism).

Supporting compassionately with behaviour that challenges.

Supporting educational challenges including school based anxiety.

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist who has a flexible, open and friendly approach. I work collaboratively with individuals, families and networks to develop a shared understanding of concerns and provide support around this. During this time I have gained a wide variety of experiences with clients of all ages in community, educational and inpatient settings. I was part of the National PDA Development Group before this closed and will now be part of the Autism and Complex Needs Special Interest Group.
