Diane Gould

Diane Gould has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for more than 30 years. She had worked in schools and private agencies before opening a full-time private practice outside of Chicago IL in the US. Diane provides supportive therapy, social skills programming, parenting guidance, training and consultation. Diane’s practice focuses on supporting autistic individuals and their families. She has an extensive background and expertise in behavioral support and has created a sensible, respectful and effective approach.  She offers assessments and coaching using her untraditional approach. Her goal is to end the use of restraint and seclusion in schools and agencies.  Diane was the first professional in America to be certified in Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome and she is the founder of PDA North America hoping to spread awareness and create resources for this population.
